Steps to make this tea at home

  1. Add 1 heaped tsp in 250ml of boiling water
  2. Brew for 3-5 minutes
  3. Serve chilled or on ice

Prep Time: 2-3 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 65ml Bourbon
  • 2-3 mint leaves
  • 12.5ml sugar syrup or honey
  • 4 Ice cubes
  • 25ml of chilled Mint Julep concentrate (made in advance)

Equipment:

  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Long spoon
  • A high ball glass or similar (Nordic Glass)

Instructions:

  1. Fill glass with ice
  2. Shake the bourbon, mint julip tea concentrate and sugar syrup in the shaker.
  3. Strain the mix into the glass
  4. Stir to incorporate ice with the mixture
  5. Top with crushed iced (optional)
  6. Enjoy
